Research Update: Finnish Non-Life Insurer Forsakringsaktiebolaget Alandia 'BBBpi' Ratings Affirmed On Core Status Feb 13

Abstract
Finland-based property/casualty insurer Forsakringsaktiebolaget Alandia (Alandia) is strongly integrated within the parent company of the Alandia group, Redarnas Omsesidiga Forsakringsbolag (Redarnas). We consider that Alandia's business and financial fundamentals are broadly in line with those of Redarnas. Consequently, we now view Alandia as a core operating entity of Redarnas, reflecting its growing contribution to the parent company. We are therefore affirming our 'BBBpi' ratings on Alandia. On Feb. 18, 2013, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'BBBpi' unsolicited public information (pi) ratings on Finland-based property/casualty insurer Forsakringsaktiebolaget Alandia (Alandia).
