Introduction
Storm in a Coffee Cup
This mature industry is brewing up concern over crop price increases and trade issues. While consumption of tea and coffee continues to increase, the awareness of questionable buying practices of multinational coffee manufacturers in developing countries has the potential to dramatically reduce demand for coffee in the United States, although it has not done so to date. Niche tea and coffee markets have experienced dramatic growth in recent years.
