The Telecommunications Management Network (TMN) is a set of global industry standards used primarily in the telecom industry for managing multi-vendor network equipment. TMN was developed by the ITU as a standard that merges the management of next generation networks with those of legacy networks and systems. TMN was adopted to bring into harmony various sub-networks and other management protocols.
