Security is a chief concern throughout the world in both the digital realm and the physical. Authentication is required in many cases to access to buildings, airplanes, computers, networks, data, and information. Biometrics technology offers a means of authenticating with PIN numbers or password that can easily be misplaced, forgotten, or even stolen. Some biometric verification methods include finger scanning, facial scanning, iris and retinal scanning, signature verification, and hand and finger geometry.
