E-Learning Course: Dissolution Theory and Practice (Certified)

This course provides a detailed treatment of dissolution including theory, stages of in vitro testing, preparation for testing and testing procedure.
This course consists of a series of lessons:
(1) Understanding Dissolution (PPL-710)
This CompuPharma Laboratory Module is ideal for both new and existing Laboratory employees in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Contract sectors. The Module explains the influence of pH, temperature and stirring on how well a solid will dissolve in a liquid. How a drug dissolves in the human body and how in vitro dissolution testing can be used.
(2) In Vitro Dissolution (PPL-711)
This CompuPharma Laboratory Module is ideal for both new and existing Laboratory employees in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Contract sectors. The Module explains the four stages of in vitro dissolution testing and the equipment used for the dissolution and sampling phases.
(3) Dissolution Equipment Set-Up (PPL-712)
This CompuPharma Laboratory Module is ideal for both new and existing Laboratory employees in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Contract sectors. The Module explains how to prepare dissolution media, standards, apparatus and sampling equipment prior to dissolution testing.
(4) Dissolution Testing (PPL-713)
This CompuPharma Laboratory Module is ideal for both new and existing Laboratory employees in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Contract sectors. The Module explains how to program the dissolution equipment, carry out media temperature checks, add dosage forms and remove samples. How to calculate dissolution results and when to retest.
This is a self paced highly visual interactive e-Learning course, with a full audio voiceover, which can be taken online. It has a 16 question multiple choice Assessment which the Trainee can perform once they have completed the module. For the Certified option, a hard copy certificate is mailed to the Trainee, once they have achieved a score of 100% in their Assessment.
