Infrastructure management outsourcing accounts for a large proportion of the overall European outsourcing market. Today, an average of 55% of European firms outsources some sort of infrastructure management activity, with 63% of very large firms engaged in this area.
We believe at the same time, that firms are becoming smarter about the way they handle these contracts: 87% of them have opted for a selective outsourcing strategy, while an average of 45% of firms also have a single methodology for evaluating and selecting infrastructure management outsourcers.
According to us cultural fit is important between the parties involved in Services Level Agreements as it solidifies the lines of communications. In this report we analyse why innovation and flexibility of services are pivotal to the success of infrastructure support services.
In conclusion, this report will provide details on the changing trends and focus of infrastructure support services which see outsourcers adopting service delivery models that turn infrastructure outsourcing into utility; applications outsourcers driving more value-added added approaches; and consultants orientating their services around business processes.
