Argentina: Telefónica and the Government Make Peace
After years of litigation and negotiations, Telefónica Argentina and the Argentine government reached an agreement to end the ongoing tariff freeze in local services. The two entities' 'marriage of convenience' is the main driver for the timing of the agreement, argues Latin America Manager Sergio Cruz, but its impact will be minimal and not immediate.
