Latin Review is an ongoing survey. This publication provides information on demographics and consumer behavior across a broad variety of topics such communication, internet usage, money remittances, financial services, property ownership and credit and media habits, among other. Latin Review 2006 is the latest release of this publication, showing the findings of 420 South Florida Hispanics from Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Demographic analysis for key nationalities (Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Central America, and other South American countries) is made across all topics surveyed.
Latin Review 2006 is the second edition of this survey which studies the Hispanic communities in the US and key Latin American markets.
Hispanic markets – Report on mobile phone and internet usage by Hispanics - The publication covers Internet and mobile phone services penetration and other key characteristics associated to these services. Consistent with research among Hispanics from other States, 50% of South Florida's Hispanic Internet users use high speed DSL connection at home, and another 25% high speed cable connection. Dial up users are more common households earning less than $50.000 annually.
Methodology: quantitative market research study, interviews by interception in commercial areas. Geographic Coverage: Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Universe: men and woman, between 18 and 65 years old, born in Latin America, first generation, with at least 6 months living in United States.
