This plan provides guidelines and procedures for employees that are required to operate a powered industrial truck and/or forklift. These employees will be trained to operate the equipment. Powered industrial trucks are defined as forklifts, platform lift trucks, power sweepers, motorized pallet jacks and all other motorized vehicles. A licensed instructor must certify all drivers before they are allowed to use these vehicles.
