SADC Transmission and Distribution Equipment Markets

SADC is experiencing a period of economic growth and the demand for electricity is outpacing available supply. For this reason the various authorities in the area are busy with network expansion plans to bring electricity to where it is needed. However, not all the countries in the region can do this at the same pace and hence equipment suppliers are advised to ensure they are aware of where the true opportunities are. The private sector is also users of high voltage T&D equipment and with the high prevailing commodity prices the mining industry is also experiencing strong growth. This research service will help equipment suppliers and equipment users to understand the market better and therefore are able to make more informed decisions.
