Do It Yourself Or Do It For You? Gardening in 2006
The Horticultural Trades Association, Oct 2006, Pages: 28
This report draws upon the latest data from the author's consumer research to provide a detailed profile of attitudes towards gardening in Great Britain; in particular it explores the use of landscapers and paid gardening by households in GB. The research data comes from a nationally representative survey of 1015 adults (15+ years olds living in GB[1]), which was undertaken in May/June 2006. Some questions were asked on a similar survey in 2002 and this provides an opportunity to provide trend data when appropriate. We also asked a number of questions to provide an insight into householders’ attitudes to their gardens.
The report is intended to give those providing garden design, maintenance and construction services a better understanding of their customers - and potential customers - and the types of services that consumers are interested in.
