Telstra Corp: Cash rich predator
Pyramid Research, Inc, January 2003, Pages: 13

revenues and cash, even while its domestic capex needs have fallen. At home, the incumbent operator is targeting the nascent Australian broadband market to drive growth, even while eyeing opportunities in other Asian markets. As global telecom valuations remain depressed, Telstra’s cash rich position will become a major asset, although the company is cautious about appearing too expansive to its shareholders.
