Polymer Bulletin - Aerospace Applications
Smithers Information Ltd, June 2012
This Polymer Bulletin is a current awareness service from the Polymer Library, the worlds largest database dedicated to polymer literature. Each time the abstracts database is updated with new records (approx. every two weeks) you will be sent a bulletin alerting you to any items that relate to polymers in aerospace applications.
Aerospace is an area that has developed extensively over the last hundred years and it touches almost everyone’s lives in some way. Whilst very few of us will ever experience space travel, the overwhelming majority will have either travelled on an aeroplane or had food or goods that have been air freighted to us from elsewhere in the world. These applications, along with others like military use, combine to make Aerospace a very large industry which faces pressure to innovate – safety and economy are two key factors on both commercial and industrial levels, meaning research must be undertaken to find stronger and lighter materials, often taking the form of polymeric composites. Plastics, rubber and polymeric adhesives all have their roles in the Aerospace industry too.
A Current Awareness service from us may be just what you need to update your knowledge with ease and accuracy without having to waste time, effort and money finding the information yourself.
E-mail delivery every two weeks.
