China Real Estate Market Analysis, 2007


Description: The main business revenue of the companies in the real estate industry amounted to RMB 107.382 billion in 2006, up 27.48% from a year earlier; the net profit was RMB 10.153 billion with a growth rate of 57.97%. In the first quarter of 2007, the real estate investment reached RMB 354.4 billion, up 26.9% year-on-year, 1.6 percentage points higher than the urban fixed assets investment, among which the housing investment increased 30.4%, higher than that of the real estate investment.
