Author Info:
Carson Block has extensive business experience in China. He splits time between Singapore and Shanghai for his business, which involves advising companies on raising funds, advising investors on China investments, and managing portfolios for wealthy individuals. Previously, he was a mergers & acquisitions attorney in Shanghai with Jones Day. Mr. Block first became involved in China business in 1998. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Robert Collins moved to Beijing in 1983 to lead and manage one of the earliest foreign representative offices to be established in China. He resided in Hong Kong for more than 10 years and was responsible for business development for the Asian region. With nearly 25 years of experience doing business in China, he has a strong understanding of how to succeed in the Chinese marketplace. Mr. Collins manages the international operations of a direct marketing company for a Fortune 500 financial services firm headquartered in Chicago.
