MCAD vendors dominate the PLM market
This report studies the French PLM market in 2006, through categories – MCAD, PDM, MCAE, CAM, and through software vendors. It provides vendors' rankings, quantitative analysis, based on 2006 numbers, and their evolution compared to 2005, visioning the 2007 trends and the future.

- After leading the CAD/CAM segment, Dassault Systèmes is now leading the cPDM segment in France, but DS is only ranked 4th in the CAE segment, despite efforts including the acquisition of Abaqus.
- Missler software has a remarkable performance: 2nd in the CAM segment and 2nd in the mid range CAD segment ahead of Autodesk and Solidworks.
