Data Center Automation: Delivering Fast, Efficient and Reliable IT Services

Description: In October 2007, EMA conducted the most extensive primary research undertaken to date into Data Center Automation (DCA). Using a detailed survey, one-on-one interviews, and individual case studies, over 300 data points for the 15 disciplines that EMA considers core to DCA were analyzed.

Primary research was conducted into the use cases, benefits, drivers, outcomes, penetration, importance, satisfaction, and barriers to adoption for the 15 disciplines that EMA considers core to Data Center Automation (DCA). This research netted 229 responses, primarily from decision makers (40%) and technical evaluators (31%) in IT infrastructure planning (32%), IT architecture (20%) and Data Center operations (16%). Companies represented include all sizes from small and medium businesses to very large enterprises, across multiple different industries and from all major geographies.

With over 200 responses from decision makers and technical evaluators in IT infrastructure planning, IT architecture, and Data Center operations, from companies of all sizes, across multiple different industries, and from all major geographies.
