Configuration and Change Control: An Anchor Point of IT Governance - An Advisory Note
Enterprise Management Associates, Feb 2007, Pages: 3
In 2007, EMA’s Security and Risk Management Practice will focus on research into the emerging discipline of strategic IT operations risk management that is becoming central to effective IT governance, regulatory compliance, security, and related concerns. As EMA approaches this effort, it examines some of the key enablers of a risk management strategy in Advisory Notes for the first quarter of 2007.
One of the most significant of these enablers is the evolving domain of configuration and change control. In this Advisory Note, EMA examines the convergence of priorities that have given rise to the concept of change discipline, and how it supports risk management priorities central to effective IT governance when manifested as configuration control.
