Challenges to the rights of transgender, gender non-conforming, and nonbinary people are playing out in schools and workplaces across the country. Counsel to employees, employers, students, and schools must all stay up to date on legal changes and best practices in order to effectively represent their clients, whether they’re litigating or trying to pro-actively avoid claims through compliance.

Learn about employees’ and employers’ rights and responsibilities, as well as best practices for promoting an inclusive workplace and representing transgender, gender non-conforming, and nonbinary clients. Faculty also cover the legal landscape for transgender, gender non-conforming, and nonbinary students in K-12, as well as in higher education, with a focus on new and emerging developments.
