This comprehensive program provides a basic introduction to employment and labor law for the lawyer new or returning to the field. Each half-day session features lectures by experienced faculty designed to teach you the statutes, case law, and practice pointers, followed by interactive sessions that reinforce your knowledge by giving you hands-on experience. These sessions are organized around the life cycle of typical employment situations and utilize a variety of techniques, including faculty demonstrations, role-playing, small-group online Zoom discussions, and analysis of hypothetical cases based on typical client situations.
