Highlights of this title
DSM operates through four business segments: nutrition, pharma, performance materials, and industrial chemicals.
In November 2007, DSM and Crucell signed a non-exclusive PER.C6 technology research licensing agreement with Brazilian-based Recepta Biopharma. The agreement would allow Recepta Biopharma to use the PER.C6 technology to develop four antibodies it has licensed-in from the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research.
DSM will expand its engineering plastics compounding capacity at the site in Jiangyin (China), which will be operational by the end of 2008. The investment is expected to increase the capacity of the compounding plant by 50%, and the added capacity will be operational towards the end of 2008.
