Market Economy Newsletters
Anyone involved on any level in the global marketplace is confronted with more information about the status of individual market economies than can be efficiently or even adequately absorbed.
It does not have to be that way.
The four editions of the market economy newsletters—Market: Africa Mid-East, Market Asia Pacific, Market: Europe, and Market: Latin America—succinctly assess the state of the world’s market economies, cutting through official “spin,” outright inaccuracies, and misplaced optimism, to give market participants a firm basis for their activities. The newsletters are published monthly with the exception of Market: Africa Mid-East, which is published eight times a year.
Whether you are a decision maker, a planner, an investor, a negotiator, seller or buyer; whether your organization is corporate, professional, advisory, or governmental; whether your main objective is profit or the public good, the four market economy newsletters will:
- Enhance your decision making prowess - Make you a critical reader of “official” pronouncements - Provide tracking for world market developments over time - Provide a broad perspective of market drivers - Minimize the time it takes to get up to speed on the markets that interest you - Introduce you to market opportunities as they arise - Help you avoid serious errors
To ensure our coverage is complete, we subscribe to approximately 350 specialized news feeds, which provide about 500,000 news items per month.
We use sensitive, proprietary software to automate the process of evaluating this material. As a result, we end up with about one tenth of one percent of the 250,000 unduplicated items, which are further prioritized by hand, and then scheduled for additional research and writing.
- Eight pages long - Brief analyses - Layout designed to promote comprehension - Comprehensive, up-to-date statistics - Published for 20 years - Considered authoritative - Hard copy via regular mail, or electronic via email
No personal names are used in the newsletters. And no company names are used—with the exception of companies that publish research, and to which we are required to attribute results.
Why no names?
For our 20 or so publishing years, we have not been a market—at all—for publicity. We pick the stories. We perform the analyses. We draw the conclusions. Beyond that, we are not advocates for any particular economic theory. If something works, we tell you. If it doesn’t work we delight in telling you that as well.
Neither do we sell our subscriber’s names, even though the periodic offers would generate significant revenue. In fact, in our promotions we never even say who our subscribers are—though we would dearly love to since they are among the global elite of corporate, government agency, and NGO accounts.
We sell our regional editions so subscribers can purchase only what they need. Take all four. Take one. Choose whatever combinations fit your operations.
