Purpose of the survey:

- To study consumer preferences of car owners for cars of various classes in Ukraine.

Research method:

- Personal interviews - formalized questionnaire.

The number of the polled: 500

Targeted audience:

- Drivers of new and second-hand vehicles / those in the process of making a decision to buy a car.
- Those who have bought their cars since 2005 (in 2005-2007).
- Owners of vehicles of different classes (A, B, C, D, E, SUV, MPV).

Sample group: quota sampling.

Quotas:

1) Car class;
2) New cars account for at least 70% of the sample group;
3) Foreign cars (non-Ukrainian/non-Russian origin) account for at least 70% of the sample group;
4) Special quota for the owners who bought their first car in 2007 and drivers of such cars.

Geographic span:

Collection of statistic data was conducted in the following cities:

- Dnepropetrovsk
- Kiev
- Lvov
- Odessa
- Kharkov
