In 2Q08, worldwide Wi-Fi revenue increased by 15% year-over-year (YoY), from slightly under $1.1 billion in 2Q07 to $1.25 billion. Total unit shipments increased by 8%, approximately 3.2 million units, from 2Q07 to 2Q08.
Shipments of Draft N products continued to grow with access point (AP) unit shipments increasing 20% QoQ, and once again Draft N network interface cards (NICs) showed the only growth in the NIC category.
