As a consultant and legal counsel, he represents developers, green businesses and municipalities around the world, advising them on neighborhood development, environmental issues, land use issues, utilities, and sophisticated business and real estate matters. Slone is the national counsel for the U.S. Green Building Council and the Congress for the New Urbanism. Slone is listed in the 2006 edition of Best Lawyers in America. Doris S. Goldstein, Jacksonville, FL Doris Goldstein is an attorney primarily representing developers of New Urbanist communities, beginning with Seaside, Florida in the 1980s. In addition to her ongoing representation of Seaside, Goldstein currently represents mopre than 20 developers of New Urbanist communities in Florda and other states.She has lectured at seminars presented by the American Bar Association, Urban Land Institute, Congress for the New Urbanism, and the Seaside Institute. W. Andrew Gowder, Jr., Charleston, SC Andy Gowder, an attorney with Pratt-Thomas, Epting & Walker, focuses his practice on land use, state and local government, business litigation, and governance. He is chair of the Sustainability Institute, and is member of the Urban Land Institute and Congress for the New Urbanism.
