China Telecom Corporation Limited is a wireline telecommunications and broadband services provider, providing telecommunications and information services covering voice, data, image, and multimedia in provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in the People’s Republic of China. The principal businesses of the Company are provision of wireline telecommunications and other relevant services, including local telephone, domestic long distance telephone, international long distance telephone, Internet and managed data, leased line and other related services to its subscribers within the service area of the company.
