The forage equipment market is at the stage of its intensive development. The market grew by approximately 11% in 2007.
Domestic production of forage equipment makes more than 80% of the total market volume. This is largely connected with the fact that home-made products are significantly cheaper than European forage equipment, by 40-70% on average. Besides, the main consumers of forage equipment are small and medium-sized farms with a limited paying capacity.

Nonetheless, due to high technical characteristics of European equipment and heightened profitability of farms, there has lately been a tendency towards a demand for higher-quality and more expensive imported products.
