Although most companies evaluate the technical expertise of their network organizations, the use of internal processes that support effective internal communications are often overlooked. A deficiency in this area creates many problems including poor internal relations, service delivery misconceptions, and a lack of organizational teamwork. To prevent these situations from occurring, network executives should determine if the organization suffers from any of the following problems:

-No formal process to introduce new business applications.
-Poor internal communication with other IT groups.
-No established processes to monitor services quality.

Most network organizations are technically capable of delivering quality network services to their business users. However, poor internal communication skills coupled with a lack of formal processes continue to create preventable internal problems.
