In the short term, however, growth in nominal terms will be high, driven by a rapidly expanding population and growing health awareness, even if high inflation levels will erode these gains somewhat. In nominal terms the market should expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.15% between 2008-2013, reaching a total value of US$502.4mn.
