This is the most comprehensive collection of classical titration methods for the Metal Finishing industry ever published.

An initial chapter includes comments on the principles of volumetric analysis, units used and selection of equipment and benefits to be gained from properly implemented process solution & effluent analysis. Computer software for off-line staff training and analytical support is also featured. There then follow some 170 specific methods covering all commonly used electroplating, electroless plating, cleaning, pickling and aluminium anodising solutions. Also included are procedures for making up key standard solutions.

In each case, stand-alone methods list reagents required, analytical procedure, calculation of results, interferences, source of the method and possible hazards. The underlying chemistry of the procedure is briefly indicated.
