While there will be some impact due to this disruptive technology, there are other factors at play here beyond simply a new tier of providers entering the marketplace. The timing of Cloud Computing is now of particular interest as the economy has slowed, companies are downsizing and cutting costs, and there is now even greater scrutiny as to how IT dollars are spent.
