Behaviour of Timber Connections
Forest Products Society (FPS), Jan 2000, Pages: 434
The behaviour of timber can be fairly complicated and the behaviour of timber connections used today is even more entangled and needs re-examination. This book, written by Borg Madsen, consists of two parts. The first part appraises the relevance of our generally known information about timber connections. It then describes research results which may help the development of new types of timber connections. The second part presents the development or improvement of different connection methods which, when implemented, will provide engineers with more reliable connection methods for their designs of timber structures.
This book is intended to be a companion to Structural Behaviour of Timber.
