Construction industry in Southeast Europe
Bogatin d.o.o., April 2009, Pages: 9
Construction industry in Southeast Europe has experienced high growth in the past few years but is faced with significant drop in demand at the moment. Interestingly, the development patterns across the region have been remarkably similar. The analysis explores the factors behind strong growth and changes in the past year in order to estimate how much the industry will suffer from the slump in demand. Countries like Bulgaria and Romania might suffer more than others, but the long term prospects for the industry are good as there are still numerous construction projects waiting to be built. However, the average growth rates of almost 20 % annually are not likely to repeat soon.
The report estimates the overall size of the market, relative importance of national markets and describes top 10 companies in the region and top 3 companies in each country.
