MATTHEW TOWNEND MD
Matt has unique experience of the content market and CDN market. He helped CacheLogic transform from a caching player into Velocix a CDN player; also recently he has advised carriers both in the UK, Europe, US, and African markets on launching CDN services. Prior to founding illume in 2005, Matthew was a pioneer in the ISP & carrier market. His career spanned the beginning of the ISPS market having been one of the early employees of the PIPEX, and he also held a number of Senior Director level positions in UUNET & MCI both on the sales, product & marketing sides of the business.
