Sun’s MDM offering comes via their acquisition of EAI vendor See Beyond. It is a customer data hub technology originally targeted at the healthcare industry. Sun is a publicly held company quoted on the NASDAQ exchange under the ticker symbol JAVA.

Sun MDM Suite has a significant customer base. We estimate this to be of the order of 150 customers as of October 2008. The vast majority of these are in the healthcare industry. The majority are in the US but there are other examples in Europe
