The Telecommunications Map of Russia is a review of the Russian telecommunications market that mainly highlights property relations between its main players. The survey covers major private, state and industry-oriented telecommunications holdings of Russia, namely Sistema Telecom, Telecominvest, Alfa-Telecom, Svyazinvest, as well as telecommunications divisions of the Russian Railroad Ministry, Gazprom, RAO UES and others.
The main objective of the survey is to build a scheme, or a map, of property and legal interaction between Russian telecommunications companies, namely stakes in each other’s companies. The present document creates a comprehensive and clear overview of such mutual dependence between the companies.
The survey pays much attention to alternative communications operators, key mobile service providers and investors, who have a substantial impact on the telecommunications market.
Company profiles contain information on the sphere and type of business of all participants of the Russian telecommunications market, provide the main financial data based on annual financial statements, as well as describe the main partners and competitors. In addition, each profile has a list of shareholders and affiliates, information about the top management, and contacts.
The Telecommunications Map of Russia has been issued since 2002.
