This Mobile Forecast on Morocco provides over 65 operational and financial metrics for the Morocco wireless market. We cover quarterly historical data starting in 4Q2003 and ending in 4Q2007. We also provide four-year forecasts at the operator level going out to 2010. Operators covered for Morocco include: Maroc Telecom, Medi Tel, and Wana. Our Mobile Forecasts are updated quarterly and are available for one-time delivery or through regular updates.

Notable highlights of the 2Q08 Morocco Mobile Forecast include:

- Total subscribers in Morocco will increase from our projected 22.9 million to a forecasted 26.5 million over the forecast period of 2008 - 2010. The wireless penetration level will increase from 73.9% to 83.7%.
- Our forecasts cover three major wireless operators in Morocco. In 2010, we expect that Maroc Telecom, Medi Tel and Wana will serve 63.1%, 32.5% and 4.3% of the subscriber base in Morocco. With Wana expanding the size of its operation, the leading player, Maroc Telecom, will be losing its market share. We forecast that Maroc Telecom’s market share will decrease from 65.2% in 2008 to 63.1% in 2010.
- We think that Maroc Telecom will have a 50% - 55% share of net additions from 2008 to 2010 which is significantly lower than the 63.6% share it had in 2007.
- Maroc Telecom will continue to enjoy a high EBITDA margin at 61.0% while Medi Tel is forecasted to have a 45.0% EBITDA margin in 2010.
- In 2010, Maroc Telecom is forecasted to register ARPU of US$ 13.64 per month as opposed to US$ 8.73 for Medi Tel.
