Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to: - Integrate breast MRI into their practice - Utilize devices for MRI-guided procedures and automated breast ultrasound - Recognize indications for and selection of appropriate Percutaneous image-guided breast intervention procedures - Establish concordance of histopathology with imaging findings - Describe the management of high-risk breast lesions and how imaging influences selection of surgical procedures - Apply basic physics to the various breast imaging and interventional modalities - Optimize new applications of digital mammography, CAD, US, MRI, sestamibi, and PET - Prepare digital mammography set-up and performance in the workplace - Review connectivity issues involving PACS and other archiving systems - Identify the role of CAD in breast imaging modalities – mammography, US, and MRI - Describe the role of imaging in the diagnosis and screening of ovarian cancer
