This program is designed to provide radiologists and other breast and women’s imaging health care professionals with advances in the detection, diagnosis, management, and treatment of breast cancer and benign breast abnormalities. Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Integrate breast MRI into their practice
- Utilize devices for MRI-guided procedures and automated breast ultrasound
- Recognize indications for and selection of appropriate Percutaneous image-guided breast intervention procedures
- Establish concordance of histopathology with imaging findings
- Describe the management of high-risk breast lesions and how imaging influences selection of surgical procedures
- Apply basic physics to the various breast imaging and interventional modalities
- Optimize new applications of digital mammography, CAD, US, MRI, sestamibi, and PET
- Prepare digital mammography set-up and performance in the workplace
- Review connectivity issues involving PACS and other archiving systems
- Identify the role of CAD in breast imaging modalities – mammography, US, and MRI
- Describe the role of imaging in the diagnosis and screening of ovarian cancer
