Commenting on the report, an analyst from the team said: “The main trend witnessed by the Global Mobile Services market is the growing usage of VoLTE. The network operators are witnessing reduced revenue through voice services. However, the LTE networks are being deployed across all geographies at a rapid rate. The voice traffic is expected to be carried as data traffic through VoLTE, thereby making it another attractive revenue generator for the network operators. Hence, the network operators can focus more on the data services instead of trying to give unlimited call options to attract new customers.”
