Marcelo S. Alencar is Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil. With over 28 years of teaching and research experience, he has published 6 technical books and more than 200 scientific papers. He is Founder and President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Communications (IECOM) and has previously worked at MCI-Embratel.
