Overview
Despite the increasing trade levels over the last decade, the share of Central Asian countries’ trade with India, relative to their trade with the rest of the world, remains very low. However, the Foreign Trade Policy of India, 2015-20, has highlighted the importance of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) in expanding India’s trade and investment links with Central Asia. The proposed INSTC trade corridor would help India secure its interests in Central Asia and beyond. It would facilitate India’s economic integration with Eurasian economies and other countries in surrounding regions. In this context, the author which has been providing company and financial information globally since two decades, offers Central Asia Business Monthly report for companies in Central Asia, India, and rest of the world.
