Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) is often referred to as the health check of the quality system- a central point where all non-conformances and deviations are recorded and addressed through the required CAPA process. In turn, effectiveness can be described as the health check of our CAPAs. Because of this, they are an area that is regularly scrutinized by inspections.
This presentation will focus on how to:
- Understand the purpose of Effectiveness Checks - Differentiate between Corrective/Preventive actions versus Effectiveness Checks - Understand what an Effectiveness Check plan should include - Understand common errors in Effectiveness Checks - Discuss Recent Recall
