The map reflects the locations of business that provide the capital funds for automotive investment, sales of all vehicle styles, and the layout of the various provinces in which cars are sold.
The information in the map was compiled from open government data and from the annual financing, manufacturing and sales reports of each of the listed companies. Parts of the data have been updated each time new data was released from those agencies.
This latest edition includes a great deal of new data, including the price, configuration, and appearance of car models sold, as well as the displacement and drive systems of various models.
The red numbers are the quantities of each province and municipalities in the year 2015. “C” stands for the domestic special passenger car, “L” for the domestic cross passenger car, “I” for imported cars, “B” for the domestic passenger car, “T” for domestic trucks and “S” for imported commercial vehicles.
Finally, the total number of car sales in various regions are shown by varying the colours from dark to light.
