Surgical lighting is required to provide sufficient illumination during a surgical procedure. Lighting
systems are especially important in invasive open surgeries, where the surgeon has a direct line of sight

blocked by a surgeon’s head or arm. In order to achieve this, surgical lights are often deployed in pairs,
and are called surgical lighting systems.
