For the second year in a row, the five major importers of LNG were all situated in these regions. The demand from APAC remained flat YOY almost at 146 million tons as import growth in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan was balanced by a significant fall in imports in South Korea. Substantial demand growth is anticipated.
