The single-layer graphene is only as thick as 0.335nm like an atom, which is one of the thinnest known materials at present. The movement of electron is limited to a flat surface with only one layer of atom so graphene is characterized with new electrical properties. In November 2015, Chinese government issued Opinions on Promoting the Innovative Development of Graphene Industry to promote the development of graphene in various fields. It is estimated that more supporting policies concerning the graphene industry will be issued by Chinese government in 2017.
