Commenting on the report, an analyst from the research team said: “Turbocharger supports condition-based maintenance that helps in reducing operation costs. It is designed to create a user-friendly environment, as it enables easy and fast service, and also offers convenient replacement of parts. It lowers the cost while maximizing application availability and flexibility, as it supports self-service maintenance by a digital interactive solution.”

According to the report, the global seaborne trade has seen a gradual increase in its growth due to globalization and growing demand/supply of commodities and manufactured goods. The seaborne trade plays a major role in the economic expansion and growth of a country or region. As the economic growth is interlinked, the rise in economy of any region will increase the global economy. The seaborne trade in 2011 was close to 8,400 in million tons, which increased to 9,860 million tons in 2015 and is expected to reach close to 10,500 million tons by 2021.

Further, the report states that the increase in the environmental pollution had led the government to follow some stringent rules like MARPOL (Marine Pollution), an international regulation that addresses marine pollution issues. The pollution level in the sea and ocean globally have increased with rise in the seaborne trade. Apart from air pollution, marine vessels can endanger the marine life. The marine vessels emit toxic gases like nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrocarbons, and carbon monoxide, affecting the health of people nearby the coastal areas. For instance, nitrogen oxide emissions are likely to increase close to 2.1 million per year. These hazardous gases may lead to ozone depletion.

The study was conducted using an objective combination of primary and secondary information including inputs from key participants in the industry. The report contains a comprehensive market and vendor landscape in addition to a SWOT analysis of the key vendors.
