The Construction Intelligence Center (CIC) is currently tracking power generation construction projects in the Americas with a total value of US$890.2 billion. Of this, US$352.3 billion is in the planning stage. The US accounts for the highest value with US$344.3 billion, followed by Brazil with projects valuing US$127.4 billion. Canada and Chile follow with power generation projects with a value of US$92.2 billion and US$92.1 billion respectively. The Americas highest project investment is in wind power with a value of US$239.3 billion followed by hydroelectric power with a value of US$ 217.4 billion. The largest projects currently in the pipeline are the US$22.0 billion Mariah Wind Farm and the US$20.0 billion North Anna Power Station Unit III, both in the US.

The report provides analysis based on CIC projects showing total project values for the Americas and analysis by stage and funding for the top ten countries. The top 50 projects are listed for the region giving country, stage, value and type of power generation construction.
