Also, the wet scrubbers have no temperature limits or condensation problems and can handle high humidity gas streams.

Various commercially utilized wet scrubbers include low energy scrubbers, medium energy scrubbers and high energy scrubbers. These are mostly catered to the industrial needs. The major demand for the wet scrubbers is from North America and Europe. With the increase in the shale exploration and industrialization in the countries in Asia pacific, a medium to high demand for wet scrubbers is expected.
