France has Europe largest population of beef cattle with 25 different breeds raised solely for the production of meat. Three-fourths of the meat produced in Netherlands is destined for exports. The beef production in Russia has been on the decline in favor of pork and poultry. Russia processed meat industry is expected to register the highest CGAR over the forecast period.
